Challenge

Whisper wanted to introduce the Worry-Free Period Panty in markets where Period Panties are still an emerging category. Consumers often perceive the product as thick, diaper-like, or confusing due to packaging cues (koala, frills).

The challenge was to clearly communicate 360° leak protection for heavy-flow nights, reassure comfort, and establish the behaviour of using period panties for overnight sleep, all in a fun, youthful way without feeling childish.

What we did

We shifted Whisper Period Panty from “diaper-like” perceptions to a product that feels soft, comforting, and easy to trust.

Our approach combined ASMR-inspired audio with a 3D animated koala character that mirrored the talent’s movements – acting as a warm, playful symbol of comfort, calm sleep, and worry-free nights. By showing the product in real sleep and morning scenarios, we made its 360° leak protection feel intuitive without over-explaining it.

Results

The film was rolled out across Singapore, the Philippines, and Vietnam, supported by English, Vietnamese, and Tagalog VO adaptations.

The work supported Whisper’s expansion in a category growing 150% YoY, across markets forecasted to double in size by 2027.
