Challenge

As part of Aveeno's innitiative for sensitive skin health, we were tasked to plan a platform that empowers the consumers with tools to understand their skin conditions and health. These customers were experncing misdiagnosis for general problems on online platforms like Google, triggering anxiety even for the most basic skin problems.

What we did?

We acted as a central hub between brand managers, R&D teams, healthcase professionals, marketing stakeholders and the conumers to build an app that addresses real problems of consumers suffereing from sesitive skin. Our tech team then worked with the strategists to design a linear user experience flow for the consumers, mapping out the backend algorithms and api integrations for the platform. The process included testing with consumers and doctors for ease of use and optimizations for market-specific consumer behaviours across Southeast Asia.

Results

As the platform was taken public, an immediate surge was seen in it's usage thanks to it's ease of use and brand's marketing efforts. The combination of data-driven predictions and real-time environmental factors - such as the weather, UV, PSI index, and temperature helped consumer with credible and tailored skincare information along with lifestyle tips.
